Fishing has allowed us to enjoy nature, but the subtlety of the fly cast has made us feel part of it.

We can perceive that we are in harmony with their rhythm, integrated into the environment without disturbing their balance. It's an intimate moment with our essence.

With equal intent I seek to keep the spirit of the fly cast true to its origin, where only a feather fly, a clean line and a bamboo cane connect me to the dream pick of a fish.

That's when I thought that if I could build my own bamboo rods, I could experience the true feeling of the fly cast of the early twentieth century and feel carried to that intended origin.

It has been very pleasant the road traveled, the company and the friendly anecdotes as you unravel some well-kept secret. But it is the shared experience of experience in the pursuit of excellence that strengthens our outcome.

As in the Robert Redford-directed film "A River Runs Through It” (by Norman MacLean), the sensation broadcast by brothers Norman and Paul in their fishing scenes on the Blackfoot River is what I'm trying to recreate with my fishing tackles.

Today I enjoy fishing with my handmade bamboo rods, to the beat of its natural rhythm. I hope you do sometime.
